As the Embedded & Electrical Design Engineer for Innovative Algorithms, Eddie developed the X7 WarDog Advanced Tactical Unattended Ground Sensor system for our DOD customer. From design, coding, troubleshooting, field testing and hands on assembly, Eddie delivered this product on time and under budget. These prototypes form the basis for Innovative Algorithms’ advanced sensor systems.
Eddie brings hands-on experience from IKA Works, Inc., an electronic laboratory technology provider. In his role with IKA Works, he designed electronic circuits and provided layout of circuit boards using Altium Designer. Hands-on electronic assembly, hardware/software reliance testing, utilizing MCU tools to develop code in C and programming using the STM32 ARM Cortex-M processor.
Team member of Triteia CubeSat satellite project for NASA. The team integrated all communications hardware, software and protocols within the Triteia satellite. Mathematically derived and designed X-band/S-band antennas on HFSS and conducted testing in an anechoic chamber to verify performance. Eddie brings a passion for Embedded Systems and Digital Signal Processing.
Eddie’s skills include embedded Systems, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer, C & C+ programming languages, Matlab, Python, Electronic assembly, Altium Designer, EagleCAD, SystemVerilog, Arduino/STM32F4 MCU, Digital filtering FIR/IIR, and ANSYS HFSS.
Awards: NASA award for Triteia CubeSat Communications system.
Eddie earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, CA.
