In cooperation with partners and the support of key technical teammates, Innovative Algorithms has developed an innovative RF switch matrix capable of switching different antenna arrays. Substantial progress was recently made involving new techniques of switching circuitry based on new material science.
An RF Smart Switch permits the control of multiple antennas in a switched beam architecture. RF power is divided between active elements allowing for greater flexibility of signals, reducing antenna footprint and enabling other innovations with RF signals and signal processing.

Using advanced materials with innovative design and modeling technique, the RF Smart Switch Team achieved a successful design significantly exceeding current state of the art switching matrices. Leveraging a deep bench of RF tradecraft experience and advanced modeling techniques eliminated many unknowns from the design. Complexities of parasitics modes, cavity resonance, microstrip and coplanar waveguide impedances and component microwave impedances were modeled and compensated in the design and achieved results meeting and exceeding US government operating requirements.
Our Team is made of experienced microwave engineers skilled in 3D electromagnetic modeling, precise electromechanical design and layout, proven bench skills, and substantial design experience. The nuances and tradecraft that comes from years of experience in designing and fabricating microwave system are essential to fabricating a successful switch matrix.
